My heart is heavy with losing Mickey, for he was a sweet spirit, a good friend, a wise and talented guy with wonderful wit and good insight. My life is forever touched by his reflections on "thin places," where we sometimes glimpse the glories that he now knows first hand.
With prayers for his family and all who knew and loved him,

I knew Mick for nearly 40 years - friends from Karns High, thru all his career and beyond. A very honest and honorable man, with a great odd {and very dry} sense of humor. He was a very funny guy. I'll miss him.
And only a few would understand this:
Mick: "hoooooww" + rock that pirate ship! And rest in peace.
