She will always be "EnnyPa" to me. Our friendship began in 1962 when we shared a duplex. One day I called from Music Row to tell her Adam Wade (who had a pop hit with "Take Good Care of Her") had recorded "Don't Let Me Cross Over." She didn't know who he was but I was so excited I couldn't wait to get home to tell her. Sherry, I don't need to tell you how much I loved her. And very few songwriters and entertainers loved music as much as she did. I and the music industry as well will miss her. My love - OreneLa.
