Ian Conrad Payne

Knoxville, TN

Ian Conrad Payne, age 31, of Knoxville passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

Ian was a veteran of the U S Army serving with the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a graduate Karns High School Class of 2005.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Payne; grandmothers, Anna Rose Payne and Ida Price.

Ian is survived by his wife, Rebecca Payne; step children, Brayden Adams and Kayleigh Kouirinis; mother, Jamie Payne; grandfather, Clyde Price; special niece, Preston; several aunts, uncles and cousins; four legged companion, Neena.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:45 p.m. on Sunday with services to follow at 4 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel.

Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery, 2200 East Gov John Sevier Highway for graveside services with full military honors conferred by the U S Army and the East Tennessee Veteran's Honor Guard.

ian Payne I remember this first time we meet in high school I was freshmen you were peertutoring in Kim grays class you were my peertutor I use to get so mad when I i couldn't figure something out cause it was hard but you had away of helping and making it towers I could understand it and would help me figure it it didn't matter how many times it took you were always paciaint with me I wish I could told you before u left Karns just how much you help me you were a great person and had the most funny sence of humor .... i wish i could tell u thank you for everything you have thought me how to do with math ... but most of thank you for such amazing friend you are truly going to be missed
