Well you know, as we get older we think about the things we did to change things for the better. John really put it all out there for others in his life, it is an inspiration for me to use the years I have left to do the same. God bless the family , and my cousins, love ya all !

John was a wonderful friend, with a brilliant and inquisitive soul. His willingness to search for meaning and purpose in life went far beyond the norms, and left him with a depth of decency and understanding which also went far beyond the norms.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the whole Schnebly family. When I worked with John at Schaake's, John was always quiet. When I would joke with him he would give me a little smirk of a smile but never laugh. When I would ask Lyda about John she would keep me informed of John and his Island life. John will always remain a happy memory in my life. I am so sorry that John left us so early.

John was a good friend; he left the planet way too early but looks like he made much of the time he did have! He was a brilliant student when I knew him; when he spoke we listened. My condolences to your family John!

I am very sorry and saddened to hear of John's passing. My sincerest condolences to Carol, Joe, Janet, Jay, Lyda, and Mark. Growing up, John was like a brother--as all of you were like brothers and sisters to me. John had such a fine mind and imagination. The world is diminished with his passing.
