George Martin Obituary

GEORGE A. MARTIN Age 71. Passed away quietly at the residence of his son in Orange, California on May 22, 2002. George was born in Long Beach, New York on June 25, 1930, and has resided in Chatsworth, California, for 30 years. As a Korean War Veteran George was active in the VFW. He was employed for many years as a Quality Control Manager for Kelvin Electric. He is survived by his loving wife, Faith; sons, Stephen (Patricia) and Roger (Andrea); da ughters, Cyndi (Mickey) Kaliterna and Kathy Simpson; sisters, Ellen Martin, Judy Smith and Alice Hamel; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at Woods Scovern Mortuary, 511 S. Central, Glendale, California, on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., to visit and share memories there will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. during the Visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon, Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 220 E. Elk Ave ., Glendale, California, with Interment to follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Glendale, California. The family has requested in lieu of flowers a donation be made to: Vitas Hospice, 333 S.
