Robert Marks Obituary

Marks, Robert Charles 81, of Lake Forest and formerly of North Chicago, IL, passed away January 28, 2013 at the Terrace Nursing Home of Waukegan. He was born May 19, 1931 in Waukegan, IL. Bob was a US Air Force veteran and a personal Chauffeur for many families of Lake Forest and the North Shore. Bob is survived by his wife, Desa Pernek Marks, of Zagreb, Croatia; children, James (Connie) Marks of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Lynette Ross of Wadsworth, IL, and Anita (Randal) Constantino of Zion, IL; grandchildren, Merissa, and Danielle Marks of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Dustin Gehrig of Beach Park, IL, Erinne (Kyle) Lehman of Mt. Pleasant, WI, and Jenny (Ryan) McCormick of Tampa, FL; great-granddaughter, Reese McCormick of Tampa, FL; sisters, Jane (the late Larry) Hissem of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Patricia (Ben) Miller of Port St. Lucie, FL, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances Marks; brother, James (the late Lorraine) Marks; sister, Marge (the late Joseph) Kimpler. Memorial gathering will be held 1PM to 3 PM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Symonds-Lakes Funeral Home 111 West Belvidere Rd. Grayslake IL, Interment private Ascension Cemetery Libertyville, IL. Bob and I were neighbors on 10th St. in Waukegan in the 80's.We both became private drivers for Joe Wrona(Jr. and Sr.)at the same time.I always enjoyed trading stories with Bob.You have my condolences.
