Idell Boice

LANCASTER: Idell Boice, 89, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, June 30 at her home on Peters Avenue in Lancaster.

Born in Calhoun, Georgia in 1925 to Russell and Lula Blalock, she was preceded in death by both parents, all siblings and husband, Bobby Jim Boice.

Surviving her are one son, Jim, and two daughters, Lisa and Laura; grandchildren, Jeremy, Nick, Isaac, Idell, Emily, Tyson, Song, Brook, Beau, Reed, Kitt and Bay; great grandchildren, James, Luke, Colin, Evan, Aylah, Stella, Malcom, Remy, Belle, Kate, Lucy, Paisley, Lane, Finn and Cambria.

Idell was an accomplished seamstress, an avid reader and worked as an interior designer for over 40 years, but her real love was being a Bible teacher. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and taught dozens of people truths from God's Word. She was an active member of the Lancaster West Congregation.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, July 12 at the Kingdom Hall, 1602 Cedar Hill Rd, Lancaster, with grandson Nick Boice officiating. Friends may call prior to service from 4-6.
