Dr.  Bogdan Maglich Obituary
August 5, 1928 - November 25, 2017 Experimental nuclear physicist, Dr. Maglich, died peacefully at home in California. He was 89 years, swam or played tennis daily. He discovered the omega meson, helped find seven more mesons at CERN. Maglich invented the missing mass spectrometer, taught or worked at UC Berkeley; CERN; U Penn; Princeton; Rutgers, headed his own companies; awarded White House citation by Pres. Kennedy; honorary citizen of Switzerland. At 13 yrs. taken to and survived a concentration camp run by the Ustashi. Married and divorced four times, children with three of the wives. Survived by son, Marko (Brenda), four daughters: Ivanka; Roberta aka Rebecca;Angelica; Aleksandra and six grandchildren.
