Desiree ("Susie") was my oldest friend. We were in the playpen together, so off and on we have shared 64 years. There is no one who had more spirit for living; her kindness was special; her laughter unique. What an extraordinary adventure her life was! I miss her terribly.

I met Susan in 1964 and along with my former husband, Warren Bishop, introduced her to first husband and the father of her children, Steven Kent.
Though we had lost touch over the years, I thought about Susan quite a bit - remembering with fondness the good times and great laughs we had. She had a great way of turning her own foibles into humor. She had spark, she had pizzaz, she was creative and bright - and even though our lives went separate ways - I mourn Susan's absence from the world.
My sympathies go out to each and every family member and all of the friends that knew and loved her.
If possible, I would like to be in touch with her mother, Betty.
