We worked together at United California Bank in the 60's. We stayed in touch for a while. We had a lot of laughs together.

I had the great good luck to work with Dougs wife Arja for several years. We met Doug socially on occasion. He impressed me in the devoted way he would look at her. I've never forgotten his story, upon meeting Arja for the very first time at college, he mentioned he and friends were going for pizza, would she like to come. She said Ok, several folks got in cars. As they were driving a bit, Arja turned to him and said "By the way, what's pizza?" Such is true love. Rest in peace, sir.

Doug was a client but most of all, a good friend. I remember all the talks we had sharing stories about our Grandchildren, he was such a kind and loving person. My condolences to Arja & Doug's entire family.
