Norman's father, Jack Bobes, was my step grandfather. I met Norman when I was very young so even with the age difference he was always so nice. Through the years after his father passed I have thought of Norman and Toby often. When my brother told me that Norman had passed I was extremely sad. Even as a young teenager I knew that Norman would be an enormous success in both his professional and personal life. I am so proud to have known him and an in round about way have been "related" to him. His loss has to be a tremendous void for his family. Rest in peace, Norman.

My Dad was a kind father, he is dearly missed. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - sitting in the sun, reading a good book, and enjoying a good meal with his family and good friends. I miss his caring nature, his supportive words, and sharing time together.

I remember Norman fondly and he was always kind and considerate. I still remember when Kathy and I visited Toby and Norman in Santa Barbara and they were so hospitable. I am sorry we were unable to see him more in his later years.

I'm blessed in being of a close friend to Joanne, Norm's youngest daughter. One of the greatest gifts that a father can give is raising responsible and gifted children and he succeeded with a full house in this regard! He will live on eternally in his children and grandchildren and never be forgotten. He is surely in god's loving embrace in the light of love eternally.
