Raul Murrieta Obituary

MURRIETA, Raul N. Passed away Wednesday September 30th, 2009 in a very peaceful setting after a long struggle with Muscular Dystrophy and other ailments. Born in 1928, he had a long spiritually rewarding life full of many great moments spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and large extended family. He will be buried along side with his two predeceased sons, Raul and Louie on Tuesday, October 6th, and they will welcome him into heaven. He is survived by his wife Lupe Murrieta, four daughters and their husbands: Tina and Bill Berke, Carmen and Victor Vidrio, Peter and Ceci Pistone, Rosa and Don Canzoneri, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed, but always remembered and admired for his strength, uncompromising work ethic and unconditional love for friends and family. His passion shall remain an example for all his friends and family of difficulties you can overcome if you maintain faith and willpower.
There will be a mass for him on October 6th, 2009 at St. Anthony's Church in San Gabriel, California (11:00 a.m.) with a burial service immediately after at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
