Betty Jean Pendray Obituary

PENDRAY, Betty Jean (Brady) passed away peacefully at her daughter's home surrounded by family on May 3, 2003 at age 64. She was a lifetime resident of Long Beach, CA and is survived by her husband, LeRoy; her daughters Lisa (Pete) Tereschuk and Mimi (Grant) Henry; and son Stephen Pendray; Amy (Fernando) Castro; grandchildren Lindsay, Jenifer, Andrew, Joe, Bryce, Conlan, Margaret and Patrick; sisters Eleanor Siegrist, Mary Sundeen, Lupe Darlene Beason and JoAnna Dorn; brothers, Charles and Joe Ruff, Numerous nieces and nephews and many caring friends. She was preceded in death by her parent s Joe and Lupe Ruff and her nephews Jay Siegrist and Andre Ruff. Betty retired after 33 years at GTE, was also a "Swing Dance Hall of Fame" gold medal winner. Services will be held at All Souls Mortuary, 4400 Cherry Ave., Long Beach, CA on May 10, 2003 at 11:00 AM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation in Betty's name be made to the Cancer Society.
