Robert Bickle Obituary

Robert P. Bickle

N. Londonderry Twp. - Robert P. Bickle, 73, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Born February 18, 1947 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Edward, Sr. and Anna (Rhine) Bickle and also preceded in death by a brother Edward Bickle, Jr.

Retired from Tyco, he attended Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown and was a member of Robert Burns Lodge 464 F. & A.M. Bob enjoyed the outdoors and camping.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Linda M. (Zimmerman) Bickle; son Brad, husband of Jennifer Bickle; brothers Donald, husband of Rosemary Bickle and Rodney Bickle.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 PM Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his church, 600 Shepherd Street, Jonestown preceded by a visitation from 2:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Dogs Den, 127 SanJo Drive, Grantville, PA 17028.

To Linda and family, I am sad to hear the passing of Bob. I always looked forward to see you at the family reunions. Bob was fun to talk to and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Linda, so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. We remember all the woodworking preparation Bob did for Cub Scouts back in the day! We will remember him fondly.
