Sarah Rhodewalt MYERSTOWN Sarah 'Betty' Best Rhodewalt, 87, died Monday, April 19, 2010, in the E.C.C. Retirement Village StoneRidge Campus, Myerstown. She was preceded in death by her first husband, the Rev. Charles Warren Best and her second husband, Harry T. Rhodewalt. She was born in West Chester, September 2, 1922, daughter of the late Drayton and Jennie H. Volk Russell. She was a minister's wife and a Retired Registered Nurse, receiving her training at the Wilmington School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lebanon. Surviving are her children, Rev. Charles Best and wife, Louise, Dillsburg; David Best and wife, Joy, Felton; Jo Borowski and husband, Jim, Kalispell, Montana; Rev. John Best and wife, Eileen, Kalamazoo, Mich; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 600 S. 12th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for scholarships to Friends of Trinity Youth Conference, P.O. Box 612, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
