FRANCIS TATOIU On January 24, 2012 Francis Tatoiu (nee Kosti) passed away peacefully with her daughter Lavina and her granddaughter Lisa present. Francis was 89 years of age and lived a full life of love. Francis was predeceased by her two precious sons, Emile and Verne Tatoiu; husband George Tatoiu; her parents Miranda and John Kosti; brothers, Ted, Art, Gilbert, George, Louie, John and Fred; and sister Mary. Francis will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lavina Tatoiu and Shelley (Yvonne) Taylor (nee Tatoiu); seven grandchildren, Lisa Strom (nee Hambley), Selene Finalyson (nee Hambley), Michael Taylor, Scott Tatoiu, Andrea Chorney (nee Tatoiu) and Carla Tatoiu; four great grandchildren, Seth Finlayson, Justin Strom, Jordon Strom and Trina Bonnet (nee Finalyson); and her seven great-great grandchildren, Qurstine, Lane, Laura, Lynzie, Kailey, Kyle and Coen. Francis will also be missed by her brothers, Nick Kosti, Steve Kosti and Pete Kosti; her sister Helen Moneo (nee Kosti); and her many nieces and nephews, she was their Aunty Fanny. Francis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, but especially by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as she truly enjoyed being a fun grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and a quick wit which all the family enjoyed. Francis was born in 1922 and was raised in Limerick, SK where she married George Tatoiu in 1939. By 1962, George and Francis moved to a farm north of Regina where she continued enjoying the freedom of nature, growing her flowers and loving all generations of her family. She loved babies and was so overjoyed when a new addition came into the family. Most of all, she loved seeing the children at play with all of their laughter and joy at her farm. Francis also had an adventurous spirit and loved travelling, sports and music. Nothing held her back. Francis celebrated all her blessings of her life through her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Francis loved flowers. Flowers are graciously accepted. PRAYERS will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at St Georges Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar Street, Regina, SK.
