Larry Crytzer Obituary

Larry R. "Larky" Crytzer, 72, of Kittanning, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Sunnyview Personal Care Home, Butler. He was born April 13, 1938, in Troy Hill, a son of the late Teemy Crytzer and Grace (Loughrey) Crytzer. He was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and retired from Davis Buick Cadillac Garage in Kittanning after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Pine Creek Independent Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching the Pirates, hunting, fishing, cookouts and mowing the lawn. Survivors include his wife, Sara Crytzer, of North Buffalo Township; son, Dan (Brenda) Crytzer, of Leechburg; daughters, Tammy McLaughlin, of Butler, Kim Cryzter, of Kittanning, and Melissa (Tim) Lynds, of Cayce, S.C.; grandchildren, Doug, Heather, Tara, Justin, Michael, Beth and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Austin, Isabella, Austin, Cameron, Jaiden, Blake and Donavin; brother, Bud (Sylvia) Crytzer, of Kittanning; brother-in-law, Jack Norton, of Kitanning; aunt, Jennie Mitchell, of Kittanning; and uncle, Chuck Loughrey. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Betty Rumbarger, of Kittanning, and Kate Norton, of Kittanning; and son-in-law, Tom McLaughlin, of Dayton. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning and from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pine Creek Independent Baptist Church with Pastor John Smith, church pastor, officiating.
