Jim and I grew up together on a farm in Loretto, KY. We had a happy childhood and were treated almost like twins. We grew up and went our separate paths. I admire how hard my brother worked for his family, with the help of Sue Ann. God will look favorably on him. Its hard to realize he has left us, rest in peace my dear brother.

My Dad was one of the good guys. He never met a stranger and was married to my Mom for over 63 years. The stories he used to tell about growing up in Lebanon/Marion County were both legendary and hilarious. When I was a little boy in western Kentucky, "Jimmy" was the local Santa Claus in the Main Street Christmas parade and I thought he was the coolest man in town. I always admired how other veterans would stop and shake his hand when they would see him wearing a Marine Corps. hat. Rest in Peace, Papa we will sure miss you.
