My husband, Alex, and I will miss Charlie so much! Charlie lived life to the fullest and serves as such an inspiration to us all. He taught us all so much about the importance of freedom, sacrifice, friendship, family, and faith in Christ. I will always be sure to share these things with others, especially with my children. He is truly one of the greatest Americans and his contributions will never be forgotten. I know Charlie really appreciated everyone in his life! He took nothing for granted. I know everyone at Covenant Woods will miss him being there. He brought so much joy to everyone he met. May God comfort and bring peace to his family at this time.

Charlie was such a loyal and wonderful friend. My husband, Alex, and I are so thankful God placed him in our lives. Charlie is such an inspiration and truly made this world a much better place. His contributions will last for generations to come. He taught me so much and Ill be sure to share these things with my children. I miss him so much already, but find comfort in knowing we will meet again one day.

I never was privileged enough to meet Mr. Maupin but I know he was a very compassionate man. A mutual friend of ours posted about the medical struggles that one of my grandchildren was having and Mr. Maupin, out of the goodness of his heart and love for another human being, donated not once but twice to help with her care. This happened several years ago but I will always remember his wonderful generosity and love.
