Marie, I am sorry to hear about the death of your mother. I have many fond memories of her, of the times we spent with your family, sleeping over and special occasions. I remember that she sewed me some dresses when I was young. What a seamstress she was. I remember one time when I was in my teens she came to our home and taught me some things about sewing. Our families spent a lot of time together. My condolences to you and your family.

So sorry. Funny how after all these years I didn't know her first name. Growing up and later visiting the old neighbourhood to pay a visit and bringing my kids back it was always Mrs. P. I do recall the birthday cakes she would have for the kids. I always loved the icing. She and the whole family were always so kind and caring for mine. So grateful to have known her. Bernie Wielgosz
