John Justewicz (age 73), May 9, 2021. Loving husband of Sherry, father of John Jr. (Sara) and step father of Karrie Ann (J.D.) DeLaRosa, Dawn (Pete) Francis, and Justin (Cecelia) Hamel. Grandfather of John Bradley, Kyle, Isabella, Georgie, Gavin, and Robert. Dear brother of Robert (Diane) and uncle to Bobby. Visitation Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2 - 8 pm at Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home 2396 Caniff, Hamtramck MI 48212. Lying In state, Saturday May 15, 2021 at 9:30 am until time of funeral mass at 10 am at St. Florian Catholic Church, 2626 Poland, Hamtramck MI 48212. Private Cremation to follow.

Hi John,
I cannot believe today is 1 year that you left us. You would be so proud that your grandson JBJ looks just like you - he is cute as a button & you have a granddaughter on the way. Sherry came to MD to visit & that was fun. I hope you are resting easy with dad & Dale.

John was my beloved husband just shy of 27 years. He enjoyed his family, of course his political life and enjoyed dear hunting. He was a great guy, loving husband and loving friend, brother, uncle, dad, stepdad and grandpa. We will miss him but never forget him or his bigger than life presence. We Love You,
