Marc, I still hear you playing the accordion on stage and it still makes me smile.

Marc attended a few of the Camp Chicopee Reunions that I organized starting in 2006. The camp was a wonderful and magical experience for so many of us including Marc and Jay. I remember when Claire worked in the office and Jay was my age. The camp closed in 1969 and we all carry the memories with us.
My fondest memories of Marc were from his accordion playing, his infectious mischievous smile and his participation in many of the play productions.
My prayer is that he died peacefully . I knew of his health issues as I stayed in touch with him after the reunions.
Sincere condolences to the Sussman family...

I just learned of Marc's passing and I am stunned by this news. Jay was a camper in my bunk when I was a counselor at Chicopee in 1967. This is very sad news. My best wishes to Claire and Jay and the entire family.

Just learned belatedly of your passing, Marc. Didn't know you very well, but enjoyed the time spent as a colleague in responsible investing, and as a fellow music-lover. That razor-wit and New York sense of humor were just the things to light up a conference session, and I can honestly say your Piano Man blew even the doubters away.
Godbless you on your journey, and may your memory be a blessing always to those who love you.

So sad to hear of Marc's passing. I'd lost touch with him in recent years, but he was a supportive, caring person who also held my feet to the fire at a difficult time in my life. My kids remember meeting him when we came to New York City in 2005. Rest In Peace, Marc.

Marc touched so many people with his music. I had the pleasure to hear him play accordion for the show "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" in Natick, MA. His music transported us all instantly to that small cafe in Paris. Thank you, Marc, for all wonderful musical memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Marc in theater. Because we were Brooklyn guys, we connected immediately. He was a wonderful musician with a kind heart and a quick wit. I will miss him!

I met Marc at a Socially Conscious Investment Conference in Connecticut several years ago. We joked that we had similar food allergies and became friends over the years. I would call him each fall and we would catch up on our lives. I missed his return call this past fall but we texted and he said that he would call when he felt better. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with him all his family.

In August of 2011, Marc was a key player in helping Tom and me organize a wonderful surprise party for my mother, Goldie Gold's (z'l) 90th birthday. From playing the first strains of "Happy Birthday," to functioning as the emcee for the approximately 50 attendees, Marc brought his full range of musical talent and affection for my mother to this grand event.
We are so sorry for the challenges he faced later in life - and even more sorry for your loss of a loving - talented father - and man.
Rest in Peace Marc.
