My heartfelt condolences are offered to the family, many, many friends, colleagues and fans of Ms. Shirley Eikhard. Ms. Shirley Eikhard was a Canadian singer-songwriter who wrote “Something to Talk About” which became a hit song for Bonnie Raitt. She was greatly admired by many fellow artists and all those who knew her. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by her. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Ms. Shirley Eikhard. May her music and legacy keep her memory alive forever.

I am so sorry about the loss of Shirley. I love "let's give them something to talk about" as well as her beautiful voice. The family has my deepest condolences and I pray that you will be surrounded continuously with love and support. As you go through this difficult time, may Almighty God give you “everlasting comfort” (2 Thess. 2:16).

Shirley was a rare person with many talents. Her gift to me as a person was the true meaning of truth, friendship and artistic expression. Our paths crossed at a time we both needed a sincere connection and positive energy. She was full of determination and love. I feel so grateful to her that our paths crossed. Thou all too short of a time. I will treasure all my fond memories of her. She will always hold a space in my heart forever.
