Grandpa, you were great! Seeing all those people you knew..it was amazing. You will be missed by all of us, me, keegan, tanner, kyrstin and megan will definately miss your selective hearing and i will miss seeing your car in my driveway when i came home from school, and complaining to uncle dan that you were over. You were a great person. I loved you, I may not have shown it all the time like when I yelled at you, but I enjoyed playing elf with you and Vicky. It will never be the same but i'm sure my dad will be an amazing santa! You had great friends and I always heard you say such great things about them, I am so grateful that I get to meet them but, I am sad that you are gone. You are forever in my heart Grandpa. I will miss you!

I just can't begin to tell you how I feel. It was an honor for me to stand "honor guard" for Donnie and being a long friendship with him. I enjoyed carring the firehouse banner with him for over 20 years. Donnie will be missed. I would also like to thank the family for presenting the american flag to me that was in Donnie's casket. Thank you very much. This flag will stay in the Winona Lake Firehouse

Don,
Thank you for walking into my pizza shop so long ago and becoming my friend. No one could have asked for a better friend. I shall think of you every time I hear the siren blow, a "real" clock tick or see a stock car race. You enjoyed life so much and that joy washed over all that were fortunate enough to be called your friends. I will miss all the little "inside jokes" we shared, your laugh and your gentle always smiling eyes. Rest in Peace My Friend. Till we meet again.........

Bernadette, Tim, Danny & family,
Don (Curly) was a kind and loyal friend who always had good word to say about everyone. I will alway's remember his pride as he volunteered to carry WLEC banner. While he worked for me at the NY Ren Faire I could alway's count on him to be the first one there in the morning at his post in the camp ground with lots of stories to tell everyone as they arrived and he always had on a smile. Don will be missed dearly. My sympathy to all of your family.

To Don's Family,
We were so surprised and saddened to read of Don's passing.Although we hadn't seen him in a long time we go back many years together, to dances at St Lukes Nursing School when Gail and Marion were students there, their wedding, visits to your home and you to ours in Matamoras when you were young children. Many good times. Will always remember Don with a smile.God Bless.

Dear Bernadette, Timmy, and Daniel...I am so sorry to read about your dad's death. I am in Florida and just checked the obituaries on line.
We will always cherish many fond memories of all our camping trips, and all our get-togethers.
You kids have all grown up to become wonderful adults. Seems like just yesterday they you were all just little kids with your mom and dad running after you.
Please know my love, thoughts, sympathy and prayers are with you all at this terrible time.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. Don was such a good person filled with a great love for his grandchildren and an endearing, kind person. I was certainly lucky to have him as a friend. In this life it is not often we have the chance to be blessed with people of his caliber. Heaven has just received a new Angel.
