Jack Douglas Trimpin Jack Douglas Trimpin, Local Artist, Designer, Architect, of 119 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, Virginia, died peacefully at the VA Hospital in Washington, DC, Monday, June 7, 2010.

Mr. Trimpin was born on July 20, 1930 on Long Island, New York. He grew up in Union, Springfield and Morristown, New Jersey. After serving in the United States Marine Corps., he attended Drew and Princeton Universities, receiving his bachelors and masters degrees; respectively; in marketing, architecture, art and music. He took classes in art at Cooper Union while he was Vice President of a large and successful advertising agency in New York City. Mr. Trimpin moved to Manassas, Virginia in 1965, became an American Society of Interior Design designer and spent the rest of his life in art,

architecture, design and music.

He is survived by his life long friend and colleague, Dr. H. Jackson Payne of 119 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, Virginia; a devoted friend, Mr. Anthony Golladay, also of 119 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, Virginia, a sister, Mrs. Holly Sileno of Chatam, New Jersey, three nephews; Dr. Court Blount Cutting of New York City and Short Hills, New Jersey; Mr. Christopher Cutting of Madison, New Jersey and Mr. Andrew Trimpin of Millersville, Maryland, and a niece, Mrs. Cathy Dalby.

A memorial service will be held at Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA on Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 AM.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. My family and I were patients of Dr. Payne for many years. Dr. Payne you and Jack made us feel like family. It was always a pleasant visit to your office and hear of Jacks latest adventures. May he rest in peace.
