Michael Keniston Obituary

Mr. Michael J. Keniston, 40, of Franklin, NH, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Aug. 22, 2006 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Franklin on Dec. 28, 1965 the son of John “Jack” and Beverly (Goodearl) Keniston. Mike attended local schools and lived in Franklin most of his life. He also resided in East Andover for several years. Mike worked in construction and general contracting most of his life and was currently employed by DMB & Sons in Franklin. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and motorcycles. Mike was a member of The Franklin Lodge of Elks #1280 and the VFW Post 1698 Men’s Auxiliary.

Family members include 2 children, Brianna Keniston and Nicholas Keniston, both of East Andover, a brother, Joseph D. Keniston of Franklin, 2 sisters, Cindy Blekitis of Tilton and Michelle Allen Markham of Franklin, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Deborah Keniston who died in 1976.

Visiting hours will be Saturday (Aug. 26th) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Aug. 27th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at The Franklin Elks Lodge, 190 Central St., Franklin, NH. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Keniston may be made to The Michael Keniston Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 921 Central St., Franklin, NH, 03235.

Mike you were a very AWESOME person. i will miss you very much. i can't believe you gone already. i just saw you 3 days befor. well im sorry u had to go i love you very much thanks for always being here for me. It will be sad knowing you were with me sence i was a day old! the family will miss you and they all say they love you...John,Tabitha,Jessica,John John and Ashley.

How sad to learn of Mike's Departure. Mike grew up with our children and neighborhood was as close as family. He was adventuresome and fun loving. His family has suffered with this loss. Our sincere condolences to all. Our toughts and prayers are with you. Bernard and Pauline Baillargeon.
