Roger Tilton Obituary

Franklin, NH -

Roger E. Tilton, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Peabody Place in Franklin on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Born in Andover, NH on May 6, 1936, to the late Roger Sr. and Blanche Tilton (Downes). Roger graduated from Franklin High School in 1955. Upon graduation Roger entered the military serving in both the Air Force and the Air National Guard. Upon discharge from the military, Roger pursued a lifelong career as a prominent building contractor in the Franklin area. Roger was well known and respected for his high-quality residential construction throughout the area.

Roger was an avid outdoorsman. He learned from a very young age the finer points of hunting racoon, bear and deer, ultimately passing these traits down to his sons and grandchildren. Roger cherished his time hunting with family and friends, spending many hours in the woods with them over the years. Later in life he enjoyed being outside and long drives with his spouse.

Roger is survived by his with of 70 years Rosealine (Boudreau) Tilton, his two daughters Linda Morgan (Jeff and Jessica) and Terri Stevenson and her husband Erik (Lindsey and Rachel); his three sons, Kenneth Tilton and his wife Carol (Erik and Cory), Jeffrey Tilton and his wife Kathy (Josh and Jeffrey), Brian Tilton and his wife Victoria (Brianna and Alaina). Roger also enjoyed his 16 great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service for the family at a later date. Donation can be made in Roger's name to Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
