Louise Henry Obituary
82, of North Kingstown passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on January 16, 2019. She was the wife of the late Francis J. "Mickey" Henry, Jr.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Madeline I. (Fauteneau) Riley.
Mrs. Henry worked for the Music Department at the University of Rhode Island before retiring. She enjoyed decorating, fashion; and loved spending time with her family.
She leaves three children, Colleen A. Matigian and her husband Michael of Chepachet; and twins, Tara M. McDavitt and her husband Tim of Wakefield and Timothy M. Henry of Coventry; a sister, Gail Hawkins of North Kingstown; and three grandchildren, Sarah and Jessica Henry and Timothy F. McDavitt. She was the sister of the late Frank Riley.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 8:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Monday from 4 -7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Beacon Hospice, 1130 Ten Rod Road

Amazing that 5 years have passed - but she is still remembered and missed. May all of you in her family take comfort that she was loved for her bright personality and humor that made sometimes grueling days of work much brighter. I know that I miss her smile and hearty, musical laugh.

Louise was always a bright light to have around. I worked with her at ASI for many years until 1997, and was sorry to read of her passing. She will be remembered fondly - by me, and certainly by the other members of the ASI company, as well as - I'm sure - many others in her circle. Her smile and bright humor are a loss to the world. May you be comforted in the knowledge that so many others loved her and smile when they think of her.

DEAR COLLEEN, TARA & TIMMY
SO SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR MOTHER AND MY DEAR FRIEND, LOUISE. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY DEARLY & I LOVED HER. FROM OUR HOME IN NAPLES FLORIDA SINCE 1987 WHEN WE LEFT WICKFORD WE HAD KEPT IN TOUCH & WHEN WE VISITED FAMILY BACK THERE LOUISE & I WOULD ALWAYS GET TOGETHER. THEN SUDDENLY WHEN I TRIED TO REACH HER, I HAD NO LUCK. LEFT PHONE MESSAGES & A COUPLE OF LETTERS WITH NO REPLY.... THIS PAST SEPT WHEN OUR GRANDDAUGHTER MARRIED WE WERE THERE FOR A WEEK AND I TRIED THEN, WITHOUT LUCK. I WAS AFRAID SHE MIGHT BE ILL & NOW SHE IS GONE & I FEEL SO BADLY WE HAD NOT CONNECTED FOR THAT LAST TIME. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER ALWAYS....& SHE WORKED WITH US IN ROSES & LOLLIPOPS, THE GIFT SHOP & HELPED US MOVE DOWN HERE. SHE MADE MY FEW YEARS IN WICKFORD SPECIAL. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF HER HERE WITH THE OBITUARY. I WOULD LOVE TO TALK WITH ONE OF YOU GIRLS A LITTLE LATER ON WHEN YOU HAVE TIME. WOULD MAKE ME FEEL BETTER.
I WILL TRY TO FIND OUT HOW TO REACH ONE OF YOU THRU THE FUNERAL HOME OR LEAVE A MESSAGE THERE WITH MY CONTACT INFORMATION. GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU. I HOPE SHE DID NOT SUFFER LONG OR HARD.
