Thomas E Archer

Thomas Evan Archer, 74, Warwick, died peacefully on March 4, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Lisa J. (Cornwall) Archer, sadly she passed away on October 5, 2021. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late John H. and Mavis B. (Manley) Archer.

Tom was a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School and went on to graduate from the University of Rhode Island. He received his MBA in Business Management from Bryant College. Tom enjoyed a long and successful career as a Financial Analyst and Project Manager before retiring in June of 2025.

Tom was an active member of the Warwick Central Baptist Church, where he served on many church boards and participated in numerous church activities. He was also a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the church's Discipleship Team. His avocation was music of all kinds, he played the trombone in several bands, especially Jazz, Swing, and Big Band Style.

He is survived by his nephew, Stephen Archer (Stacy) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and his grandnephew, John "Jack" Archer.

He was predeceased by his brother John M. Archer and his sister Brigette M. Archer.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00PM at the Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. Burial will follow at the Quidnesset Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown, RI.
