Donna Pioli (nee Fields) lost her courageous fight against Multiple Sclerosis and Pulmonary Fibrosis on April 7, 2021 in Bellevue, WA. She fought like a champ for 27 years and outlived all her Doctors' expectations.
Donna was born in San Diego, CA to Howard and Lou (Rose) Fields. She grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA. She and her father loved to sing. She auditioned for the original Mickey Mouse Club where she sang Alice Blue Gown, which became one of her children's favorite songs. After graduating from Mira Costa high school, she married her high school sweetheart, David Luecke in 1963. Together they raised six children, moving from California to Woodinville, WA in 1979.
Donna felt a strong desire to help others and was destined for a life of service. A devout Catholic, she was pro-life and in her younger years often worked to overturn Roe v. Wade. During her lifetime, she was a missionary in Prince George, British Columbia Canada, a chaplain at Providence Hospital and a social worker in Everett, WA. Throughout her life, she continued to donate to causes close to her heart.
In 1989, Donna married Albert Pioli. They were married for 29 years.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert Pioli. She is survived by her six children Carrie Luecke (Spencer Durham), Cathleen Luecke (Phil Argue), Amie Luecke (Jay Dorney), Robert Luecke (Christine), Anne Pappas (Marty), Therese Weaver (Nick Ziegler) and her 14 grandchildren Bree, Maxwell, Kyle, David, Madison, Jamison, Robert, Jakob, Megan, Luke, Taylor, Erika, Kylie and Kameron, her sister Lillian (Davis) Andrews, two nieces, Marylou and Debbie and a nephew, Jeff. She also leaves behind 8 stepchildren Rene, Angela, Debbie, Sandi, Lora, Brenda, Matt and Gina and 27 step-grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
Donna was loved by many and made friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by those fortunate to have known her.
Funeral services will be held April 15, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Brendan Catholic Church, Bothell, Wa.

I have shared a lot of my childhood memories with Donna. I was just another kid she was happy to have in her home. I don’t know how many songs she had to listen to me sing, along with her daughters. She created a home full of love and energy. Donna will be undeniably missed by so many. Such a strong and sweet soul. We can all learn from the grace she offered to herself and others in this wild, crazy and beautiful life.
