Joyce WAIBEL Obituary

Age 94, of Roseville MN Passed away on January 19, 2022 Joyce lived most of her adult life in Roseville and surrounding areas. Most recently she lived at EagleCrest Presbyterian Homes. She taught at Brimhall & Lexington Elementary Schools. She faithfully loved her family, and also enjoyed her church life, visiting family and friends, gardening, wildflowers, mountains, & her cats. Joyce was born on May 28, 1927 near Janesville, WI to Mal and Alida Wickham. In 1951, she married Paul Waibel, who passed away in 2000. Joyce is survived by her sister Gwen Throndson of Westerville, OH; three sons: Gil (wife Debra) of Sycamore, IL, Alan (wife Becky) of Carrboro, NC, Ron Waibel of Cupertino, CA; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Please join us to celebrate Joyce's life at Bradshaw Funeral Home at 4600 Greenhaven Dr. in White Bear Lake on Monday, January 24th at 10am, with a visitation one hour before. Livestream available at https://www.bradshaw funeral.com/obituary/Joyce-Waibel. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Cemetery at 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard NE in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to EagleCrest Presbyterian Homes & Services at 2945 Lincoln Dr. in Roseville.

We knew Joyce when she was part of our church family in St. Paul. She reached out to my mother who was about 10 years older than her and helped my mother as a volunteer with the church library. Such a gracious, lovely person! My sympathy to her family.
