Jason Johnston Obituary
He was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church and an organ donor.
Jason was a 2000 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky Dental School. He practiced dentistry at Lincoln Trail Dental in Elizabethtown. Jason was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He was a sincere and trusted friend to many, young and old alike. He genuinely loved them all.
Jason is survived by two children, Gemma, age 6 and Arlo, age 3; his parents, Wayland and Marilyn Johnston of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Jennifer and Jessica; as well as two very special nieces, Julia and Madeline Tabb. Other survivors include a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Michael Wimsatt and the Rev. Loi Pham officiating. Burial follows the Mass in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation for Jason is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A prayer vigil is at 5 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a contribution to the St. Vincent DePaul Society for those in need in Elizabethtown and Hardin County.

To my Aunt and uncle and cousins. Our heart grieves here in Georgia for the loss of one of our family members. Please know you all are in our prayers. In memory of what this young man has seen these last wondrous days on his new journey I posted
I can only Imagine the best song ever on Facebook to dedicate to him and our whole family during this difficult time. I hope it provides comfort for these long days ahead. He is and has seen remarkable glorious things in the kingdom we can only imagine here on earth. This time is difficult for us on earth. We don´t understand. But God understands the plans for us. He will be waiting for you. You will see your son again. We are all left to go on for the purpose God has for each of us. Be faithful and believe all your days and know he is home.
