Willie Westley, 70, departed this life on Feb. 23, 2023 at Marion General Hospital. Willie was born on Feb. 29, 1952, in Earle, Arkansas to Oscar Lee Wesley Sr. and Lela (Grice) Wesley.
Willie was educated in the Turrell, Arkansas school system until he moved with his father Oscar to Malden, Missouri. Willie was employed by Foster Forbes Glass Company in Marion, Indiana for years. Willie loved the Lord, he accepted Christ at an early age. He was a longtime member of Morning Star M. B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie F. Love.
Willie was a kindhearted person, loved spending time with his wife, family and friends, playing cards and pool, cooking, house cleaning, detailing his vehicles, listening to music, dressing up to go out dancing to show off his fancy foot work and own the floor as "Mr. Perculator".
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lee (Rose) Wesley Sr. and Lela (Grice) Wesley; His brothers Bennie Grice, Jimmy Austin, Oscar Nathaniel Wesley; sisters Leatha Brown, Margaret Ivory and Mildred Chestnut ; Mother in law Harriett Randolph; brother in law Richard Randolph; sister in law Lettie Randolph and Catherine Randolph; his "furry son" Chip Westley.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife Dorothy (Randolph) Wesley; son Clifton Randolph; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; siblings Mary L. Murphy of Waukegan, Illinois, Joe Lee Westley Sr. of Turrell, Arkansas, Bobbie Jean Page of Brownstown, Michigan, Oscar Lee (Barbara) Westley Jr. of Brownstown, Michigan and Rose Davis of Clarksville, Tennessee; in-laws Priscilla Washington, Edward Randolph, Walter Randolph, James Randolph and Willie Bee Randolph and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Morning Star M. B. Church, 1612 W. 7th street, Marion, IN. Calling hours 11- 1, service at 1:00pm. Services entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service.
