Dennis Hile Obituary
DELPHOS — Dennis Hile, Sr., 72, passed away 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at St. Rita's-Mercy Health. He was born July 29, 1948, in Spencerville, OH, to Floyd L. and Margaret (Wilkeson) Hile. They preceded him in death.
Dennis is survived by three sons, Dennis Jr. (Amanda) Hile of Delphos, Jeff (Rachel) Hile of Lima, Kevin (Shelby) Hile of Sparta, TN; one daughter, Misty Corral of Apopka, FL; ex-wife, Cheryl Hile; his companion, Tina Kitchen; two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Diltz and Rebecca Auer both of Delphos; 11 grandchildren, Bailey Hile, Carson Hile, Shelbee Hile, Kaytlynne Hile, Jenna Hile, Jeffery Hile, Jr., Tim'Asia Simpson, Alex Hile, Corey Hile, Leslie Corral, and Fernando Corral; four great-grandchildren, Krystal Hile, Ayden Hile, Estrada Hile, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Floyd Hile Jr., Rick Hile, and Dick Hile; two sisters, Francis Lowe and Carolyn Stocklin; a brother-in-law, Richard Auer; and stepson, Shane Dent.
Dennis was a member of the Delphos Coon's Club. He enjoyed dressing up like a clown to entertain and amuse little kids. In his spare time, he liked fishing, playing pool in the garage, and sitting by fire. He also enjoyed driving around town honking his horn and waving.
A private memorial service will be held for the family on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
