I remember him well. When I was just starting as a photojournalist in the early 1980s, he always had a ready smile and encouragement for me--all the while being the best dressed guy in the building. A lovely person, in a tough business, which made it all a bit easier.

So missed. There is so much to tell him. Peter we are going on holiday next week to see the Northern lights. Today we find we are actually going to the Canaries and our insurances are invalid.

When he was five he was taller than me though only being a little older. We were taken on a donkey ride on Margate sands but neither of us looked very happy. We as a family, knew Peter for his wonderful sense of humour and intelligence. So missed.

We loved him and cannot imagine filling the gap in our lives. We grew up together and have lost our shared memores such as Uncle Sid's funeral or riding donkeys at Margate during the war. He and Anthea we so generous to us hen we met. He was our last link with our beloved father.

I knew Peter as a client (photographer Roger Ressmeyer and I visited him at LIFE magazine) and a colleague at Corbis. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. His knowledge and humor will be greatly missed.
