Howard was my cousin, but really more like a brother He loved to camp and go deer hunting. We spent many hours around a campfire. So many precious memories. He was a kind and caring person and loved by many.

I was so very lucky to have had Howard here in my life as my dad for the last 47 years, and as an amazing papa, and great grandpa. We all miss you so much. I am so grateful for all of the countless hours that you put in to help raise me and my kids. You were always so patient and dedicated and always there for us when we needed you. New memories of the good old days keep coming to mind, for instance real quick my dad was always on the hunt for the perfect Silver tip Christmas tree every year. One day he left and said make a spot he probably is going to come back with the tree today. So we made a spot for the tree and he ended up coming home empty handed. He said he was at the store and in line with the tree and there was a lady and her little boy in line behind him and he was asking his mom if they could get a tree and she said no that they couldn't afford it. So my dad told the cashier and the lady he was going to pay for her purchase plus he gave her the Christmas tree he had just bought and gave her some cash to get some gifts for her kids for Christmas. That was the kind of person he was, generous and kind. A great role model for us. How fortunate and proud we were to have you in our lives for as long as we did. You were a great dad. Love you always your favorite daughter. Rhonda
