Caroline Lange Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Caroline Jean Coffelt Lange, who died peacefully on July 4, 2025 after a courageous battle with dementia. Caroline was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Caroline will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, Stanton. She is also survived by her two cherished daughters, Sarah and Steffani, who were the light of her life and who carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength, along with her two sons-in-law, Jim and Paul. Caroline's greatest joy came from her five grandchildren, Jack, Will, Oliver, Finley and Quincy, who brought her endless laughter and happiness and who will forever remember her gentle spirit and unconditional love.
Caroline was born in Portland, OR on May 17, 1946. She moved with her family to Alamo, CA her senior year of high school. She attended Fresno State as a bookkeeping/accounting major and was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She met Stanton at Fresno State and they were married on August 24, 1968.
They built their home in Lodi and Caroline established herself as a bookkeeper for local businesses. She was very active in the Lodi community, through Omega Nu, Grape Festival Board and the PTA at her daughters' schools. She loved reading, knitting, watching sports and traveling.
Throughout her life, Caroline exemplified grace, kindness, and resilience, even as her dementia progressed. She was the family's rock and a constant source of comfort and inspiration to those around her. While we mourn the loss of Caroline's physical presence, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on her family, her friends, and her community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org) in Caroline's memory, so that future families might be spared the heartache of this disease.
Caroline's life was a testament to the power of a woman's love for family. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.

I met Caroline Lange at a fitness class a number of years ago. Her motivation for taking the class was to become stronger and flexible enough to get up and down off the floor to play with her grandkids. They were her pride and joy! My condolences to her husband Stanton and her entire family for the loss of a lovely and gracious woman. Rest in peace Caroline.

I have great memories of Caroline when she worked for Ron Thomas. I was the administrator at Arbor Place where she did our accounts payables and payroll. She was always a pleasure to work with and always so helpful. I'm sad to hear of her passing and wishing Gods grace for her family.
