She was best teacher I've ever had. Very professional and trustworthy person. She cared about everyone in the classroom. She also was a fond of postcards as well. She send me a postcard from Washington DC while she was on a trip there. I still have it until this day. She will definitely be missed. God bless her soul

Growing up in Lodi during the 70's, the community was still small, especially the teaching community. Mrs. Shinn was a dear friend of my mom. I have nothing but fond memories of this lovely lady with the beautiful smile who showed nothing but kindness always to our family.

We will always remember Vinita as being very loving and affirming. She frequently expressed gratitude for her family. Her legacy of love is unmeasurable in the lives of the family, friends and students she impacted. May God bring comfort and peace to those who mourn her passing, as the hope of Heaven prevails. Love & Hugs to the Shinn Family.
