Donna Giovanacci

December 13, 1938 - November 27, 2025

Donna Lee Giovanacci (Haskett) peacefully passed away November 27, 2025. Donna was born in Santa Rosa California December 13, 1938 and moved to Lompoc as a young girl. She graduated from Lompoc High School, married Frank Giovanacci in 1955 together they raised 4 children.

Donna spent her early years volunteering for numerous organizations in Lompoc. In 1972 after modeling for Moores Department store in several local fashion shows, she became a valued employee at Moores working in the Ladies department. Several years later Donna moved on to Valley Medical Group as the front desk receptionist. Later she followed her passion of travel and started a career as a travel agent, assisting clients in planning wonderful vacations.

Donna and Frank became world travelers experiencing all the great places in this world. Other than traveling she enjoyed sewing, camping, crafting, gardening, playing bridge and collecting her beautiful jewlery.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Frank Giovanacci, her parents Edwin and Lutie Haskett and her sister Sharon Haskett Herzig.

Donna will be greatly missed by her children Joyce Giovanacci, Laury Hayes, Sherri Giovanacci, Stan Giovanacci and wife Natalie, her grandchildren Danny Davis, Shellie Robles Davis, Kellie Davis Koehl, JR Koehl, Crystal Chulick O'Neil, Brody O'Neil, Julie Perry Tuttle, Eric Tuttle, Bryan Perry, Robert and Brittany Vellotta, and 10 great grand children.

Donna's Celebration of life will be December 27, 2025, 10:00am at the Lompoc Cemetery, following at the Lompoc Elks Lodge 905 East Ocean Avenue, Lompoc, CA.

Donna was a sweetheart! I first met her when Donna helped make all our reservations in 1992 when Dennis and I went to Switzerland to visit his family, then on to the Azores Islands to spend time with my Portuguese family there. She was so helpful and easy to work with. Again a few years later the day after Christmas we left to spend the holiday in Venice, Italy and Donna once again took care of everything for our trip. It was always a pleasure to see her at local events and chat it up with her there. I want to offer my heartfelt sympathy to her large loving family during this holiday season.
