Jacqueline Polsgrove Obituary

POLSGROVE, JACQUELINE "JACKIE," 77, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Jacqueline Humphrey and a native of Paradise, KY. She was the wife of James H. Polsgrove, a member of the State House of Representatives. She started the Ladies Auxiliary at Elks Lodge #8 and was the past local and state president. She currently had been the historian for the auxiliary and also had been the former owner of Polsgrove Tax Service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Polsgrove; her son, Fred Polsgrove; and a brother, James Humphrey. She is survived by her mother, Alice Elizabeth Hamm Humphrey; sons, Michael Edwin Covington and Gary Wayne Polsgrove (Minette); brother, Jerry Humphrey; daughter-in-law, Lee Polsgrove; 11 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. Her funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.
