Marsha: your passing saddens me deeply. I admired your wit and your intelligence. Your friendship was, and continues to be, very important to me...now it will reside in my heart and my conversations with you will be whispers of prayer. I hope you find peace. You were loved.

Dear Marsha,
I've had a sad week-plus to come up with something halfway meaningful to say. Having given up on that, let me ramble for a minute...
I'm still beating myself up for not following up with you after our Facebook conversation in November 2009 - about 30 years since we last talked. I wanted to learn more about your life and take a stroll or two down memory lane.
Our two years together in the late '70s were a mixed bag of fun, strife, enlightenment, confusion, education, and more. I would not trade them for anything.
You were very special to me. Peace be with you forever.
Love,
Marsha D.

Marsha,
You made quiet an impression with your intelligence and your wit. We have lost much and much too soon. So sorry to hear that you are gone.
