Take comfort in knowing that you have two special guardian angels to watch over you.

Dear Muckler family,
So many memories of Bill, for my mom, Delphine (Bill's cousin) of days long ago and more recent times as well. Bill was a welcome sight for his Vogel cousins who shared a table @ McDonald's every Wednesday. When they reconnected, he and Barbara shared stories of how they met, their family and life in general. Soon the conversations took them back to their old neighborhoods, where Bill, Carl, Rosetta, and Delphine grew up--bringing back many shared memories. One by one, Bill's children became curious where their dad disappeared to every Wednesday, and they made their way to the group at McDonald's. New bonds were forged with Matt, Sarah, Alex, Andy, Peggy, Tim, and more. Eventually Matt connected with ancestors from Germany, and he and Sarah took Bill along on the adventure...imagine sitting with folks who spoke very little English, but still connected with these american relatives eager to know their way of life and information on their German family roots. Bill, you were part of combined families who shared growing up, growing old, and finally releasing loved ones to eternal peace. Now your peace has come, with God to guide you and our love as your flashlight.
-Delphine's daughter, Debbie (I'm including Mom's message with mine, below)
"Cuz", Thanks for the memories...I'll miss you and your phone calls; maybe we'll be able to understand each other in the here-after--"huh"?
I SAID, MAYBE we'd be able to HEAR each other...(maybe the hearing aids will work in heaven)
I will miss you-just knowing you were here was such a comfort to me. I'll miss your stories from way back when. We lost track through the years, but you caught up with me again and you and your warm family definitely brightened up my life. -Love, Delphine

R.I.P. Bill. You will be sorely missed. We had some great times together at Halleck Hall and Male High School. My sincere condolences to the family. Sherman Robinson

I love you and I miss you with every single fiber of my being. No one ever had a better father. I am so blessed to have had you in my world for as long as I did, yet it still wasn't long enough. I know you were proud of me and loved me with all your heart. I'm the luckiest daughter ever to have had you and Mom as parents. You showed us all how to be kind, how to be smart, how to be accepting of all... you taught us how to be good human beings.
I miss your smile, your laugh. Your hugs. I miss your whistling and the silly songs you'd make up. I miss our nightly thing-to-eat. I miss you going through the room and picking up bits of fluff on the carpet. The three taps on my door every morning when you'd wake me up for school. I miss you always being there to rescue me. I miss the way your hearing aids whistled. Your beard. Stormy nights as a little girl climbing into bed beside you when I got scared. The way you always introduced me as "your baby". A million, billion other little things that went into making you my Daddy.
I miss being called "Beth Nelly".
The way you always left me a message starting with "Hey sunshine, this is your father" and ending with "love you".
No matter where I go and what I do, no matter how old I grow... I will always be your baby.
I love you, Daddy... times infinity.
