Robert Goodell Obituary
Graduate of Shawsheen Valley Tech
TEWKSBURY -- Robert M. "Robbie" Goodell, age 21, a lifelong Tewksbury resident, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on Monday, October 19, 2015, following a long struggle with addiction.
Born in Lawrence on January 29, 1994, he was the much loved son of Steven R. and Lois M. (Marshall) Goodell.
Robbie attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 2012.
He loved sports and as a youth played hockey, baseball, and soccer in the Tewksbury Youth Sports Programs. During his high school years, he was a multi-sport athlete and member of the Football, Hockey, Baseball and Soccer teams at Shawsheen Tech.
Since graduation, Robbie enjoyed working with his dad in the Construction field. In addition, he loved family vacations and spending time with his many friends and teammates.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Callie Goodell of Raleigh, NC; his maternal grandmother, June M. Marshall of Tewksbury; his aunts and uncles, Michael and Janet Marshall, Eileen and Tom Crear, Maureen Marshall, Phillip Goodell, Jr., and Deborah and Frank Fitzgerald; cousins, Aaron Crear, Andrew and Lisa Crear, James Fitzgerald, Jennifer and Matt Spaulding, and Joseph Fitzgerald; also numerous extended family member and friends.
Robbie was the paternal grandson of the late Phillip Goodell, Sr. and the late Merrill Marshall.
GOODELL -- Robert M. "Robbie". Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 22, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 23, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robbie's memory may be made to Into Action Recovery Program, 632 North Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. www.farmeranddee.com.

Feeling sad to hear about your bundle of joy (Robert) Our prayers are that God in time will mend your broken hearts and give you comfort and strength when that moment comes when you want to hear your Son, Robert's. human voice....he now lives in your hearts and now silently speaks to you Lois and Steve...yep it's been years but how could we forget your humor and smiling faces that came at the right time always. Our hearts are breaking and no words can ease the pain. Our little boy is gone and the lost is terrible. I know that you are no longer in pain and that you are safe with God now. Watch over your father and I. We love you Robbie.
