Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Gertrude and the Hartnett family as they mourn the passing from this life of their beloved Frank Sr. I so enjoyed his columns in the Pepperell Free Press and Nashoba Publishing. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He has thrown off the bounds of earth and touched the face of God.

Dear Gert and the rest of the Hartnett family. Frank was truly a wonderful person. After his family he loved public service. So many former public servants owed much of their careers to Frank. He was not involved in partisan politics or the acrimony that is so evident in politics today. Frank judged a public servant by two criteria; first were they a good family person , second, would they support maintaining Ft Devens as an active military base. God Bless you Frank , and I am sure you are with St Jude .
