WILMINGTON -- George R. Crowley, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away on September 14, 2017. George was the beloved husband of Trudy (Geswell) Crowley, devoted father of George R. Crowley Jr., & his wife Pam of Vero Beach, FL, Kenneth F. Crowley of Wilmington, James M. Crowley & his wife Cheryl of Billerica, Sandra A. Claflin & her husband Donald of Burlington and Janet C. Ingram & her husband Jason of Birmingham, AL, loving grandfather of George III, Sean, James Jr., Patrick, Thomas, Megan, Shannon, Brendan and Kaitlyn, great-grandfather of George IV and Emily, cherished son of the late Ralph L. and Kathleen E. (Ingersoll) Crowley, dear brother of Ralph L. Crowley Jr., of Lowell and the late Charles Crowley and Rose Vinagro.
CROWLEY -- Family and friends will gather for a funeral service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, September 18th, at 11:00 am. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, September 17th, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Memorial donations in George's memory may be made to American Gold Star Mothers Inc., Dept. Of MA/RI, P.O. BOX 174, Princeton, MA 01541-0174. George was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country.

Sorry to hear of George's passing. I just got word today (Sept 27th). We had some great times with the Comets baseball team and great memories of our get together. Condolences to you Trudy and your family.
