William Spagnuolo Obituary
Grand Rapids - Age 84, our loving father and grandfather passed away March 14, 2020. Born May 30, 1935 in Lansing, MI. William retired from the State of Michigan with over 25 years of service as a graphic artist in several departments. He was a member of the Sons of Italy (Grand Rapids). He loved music, art, fishing and hunting and enjoyed model airplanes. Surviving are his 5 daughters, Sheila (Richard) Dunham, Sharon Logan (Bob Hill), Sharla (Bill) Clements, Sandra Spagnuolo, and Nacoma (Tim) Kirkwood; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Julane Quick and Sylvia (John) Arena; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Nacoma Lenore and William Charles Spagnuolo, Sr. A gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48917. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of William. I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will always fondly remember our trips to Detroit for the harmonica conventions 40 years ago. And I recall his delicious spaghetti sauce I sampled at his home on Lake Drive. Please accept my condolences.

I am so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. He was always so full of life, it is hard for me to think that he is now gone. My siblings Diane, Cindy, Garry, and I convey our deepest condolences to Julane, Sylvia, and Bill's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Concern about the Covid 19 virus may prevent any of us from attending the gathering on Saturday. Please know, however, that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Please be safe in this uncertain time.

My condolences to the Spagnuole Family.
I worked with Bill for five years at the Area Child Amputee Clinic in Grand Rapids in the mid 70s. Bill was a man of many artistic talents. He taught me how to take pictures, cook and enjoy the finer things life has to offer. He was a good friend for many years. Rest in Peace, SPAG.
