LaTanya "Tanya" Lacy

1978 - 2018

Lubbock- LaTanya Lacy, 39, of Lubbock, TX went home to God and her husband and love of her life, Michael, on Monday, May 7, 2018. She was born August 1, 1978 to Roger and Gayla Grant.

LaTanya began "her" life journey with her true love, Michael Lacy, on June 13, 1996. She loved spending time with her boys, her family, and being outdoors. She was a nurse and devoted her life to helping others. LaTanya did not have friends. If you were her friend, you became family. She was looking forward to planning a garden and continuing to turn their country land into the paradise that she and Michael had dreamt of. Her kids were her world. LaTanya may be gone from earth but will never be forgotten.

LaTanya was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lacy. Her legacy will continue to be honored and cherished by her three sons, Jaylon, Jarron, and Jyson. Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Roger and Gayla Grant, grandparents Ismael and Mary Gamez, brothers Johnathan Grant, Dedrick and Brevin Johnson, nephew and nieces, Aaron, Avery, and Ambry, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and amazing friends.
