Running a company, raising a family, contributing to his community, Coach Law still took time to lay deep principles of sportsmanship and graciousness while coaching me in Little League. Though I was a terrible ball player, his encouragement was never lacking! His influence of faith and integrity prevailed through Sam, my first grade through graduation classmate, a friendship I cherish today. Thank you for the enduring legacy, Coach!

Dan was a loyal friend. He could talk on and on. I called him Motormouth". A handshake for doing business was all he asked of me. I could always walk into his office whether to visit or talk business.

Our family will have everlasting memories of Dan's kindness, sense of humor and generosity. He was very devoted to his faith and family and always had that big southern smile. In the business world he was a mentor to many. We will all miss Dan. Our prayers go out to the family.

Bud & Nancy Lovell

I am Bud Lovell a fellow deacon at FBC. I feel akin to Dan being a Southerner from Nashville & my wife Nancy from Chattanooga, TN. I first met Dan on a Saturday morning at a Service Station near 19th & Quaker. We spoke, and Dan was so friendly I felt like an old friend. I just occasionally had contact with him at Church. My son Philip graduated from Coronado with Sam & I suppose our daughter April had some association with Tom at Coronado. I have admired Dan and Jean's faithful service to our Church and Our Lord!. I will be looking forward to being with them maybe not too many years from now. God Rest Their Souls. Well done thou Good and Faithful Servants.

Dan Law, is indeed a rememorial kind and generous man. Although I knew him for a short time, I will miss his warm smile and friendly personality. I enjoyed many nice meals with Dan and Dee & sometimes with Sam & Julie and Jan at the Golden Corral. My sincere condolences to all of the Law family during this sad time.
To be remembered and to live in the hearts of those we loved and who loved us is not to die. What we leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, But=what is woven into the lives of others. Dan and Jeane will not be forgotten.
God bless you all.

Dan reached out to me the day I set foot on the Tech campus in 1971--a scared 18y/o 400 miles from home. It didn't take long for me to feel like I was part of the Law family. And it seems like only yesterday I was sitting on the Law couch watching "The African Queen" with what is now my wife of 44 years.
Thanks Jan, Dee, Sam, and Tom for sharing your dad with me...

So sorry to hear about Dan Law's passing. Condolences to his family .. Dan was a great person to work for in my time at Fields and Co. When a student at Tech. He asked me to tutor his kids in math which I was happy to do. I am sure he touched many of us that passed thru Lubbock .. always gave me the time I needed to further my studies .. I am sure all that knew him will miss his generosity and kindness. May he rest in peace.

Jan and family,
So sorry to see you have lost your Dad. I remember how Field and Co. looked with all the beautiful light fixtures blowing in the breeze. We bought a green double door refrigerator from Dan that was used in the Demo Kitchen at Fields and used it many years. He is a legend in the community and will be missed by many. Prayers to you and all the family as you travel a new path down a road none of us want to take. Just know your Dad is at peace and someday you will meet again.
With love and Sympathy,
Nell Raper Boren
