Sharon, and family. I am so saddened to learn of Larry's passing, but knowing his faith and love of the Lord, comfort shall be given to those of loved and knew him. We probably have 20 pieces of his art that we have cherished over the years. As a young lawyer back in the 80's, I was searching for courthouse prints for my office. I could find none. My wife and I were visiting my family in Lubbock, and while we were at the mall, there was Larry and Sharon, those friendly and happy faces, greeting everyone who passed their kiosk. We stopped, and the friendship for years to come began. We bought what courthouses in had at the time, and over the years, others as he drew them. They hung in my office for years until just recently. I even had the title company I was affiliated with commission him to draw "Old Red" in Dallas, and Larry gave me signed and numbered copy #1. I love it. The best though was when I sent ask him to draw a print of our small rustic lake cabin at Possum Kingdom Lake, as a surprise for my wife. I sent him pictures and he said he'd take care of it. What I didn't know is that he didn't particularly care for the pictures I took, so unknown to me, he went to the lake, took his own pictures, and one day called and said, "Your print is ready. I'm at a show in Granbury. It was amazing. My wife was so happy, and it hangs in the house to this day. I cannot tell you how many times we would visit with Larry and Sharon at shows in Grapevine, the State Fair, or on the phone, an amazing couple. I'll miss you Larry, but you will be in the hearts of all your friends and customers. God bless you Sharon.
