Dearest Grandma, I Love you so much more than i could ever put into words. You were always there for me my entire life, from the time i was born up until you went to heaven. I will be forever grateful to have had the best grandmother a grand child could have ever wanted or asked for in my life the way that you were. I will miss you & all of the things we used to do together, the talks, stories & tons of laughter that we shared. You were so loving, giving, & kind. And just so full of life, love, laughter, & wisdom among many other things. It will not be the same here without you i have went to call you a few times, especially on Christmas. I will always love & miss you. But I will also always carry you & everything you have taught me in my heart & in the countless memories that we shared. You always talked about angels & I know that you now are an angel, my gaurdian angel watching over me. May you R.I.P with no more pain & suffering. And enjoy heaven with the Grandpa & all of our friends & family that are up in heaven with you. I Know I will see you again "One Sweet Day". Love Always & Forever Your Grandaughter Brittany.

Thelma was such a dear friend! She was a wonderful spiritual counselor and full of great wisdom about life's journey. We spent many days visiting her and listening to her wonderful life stories. She was a shining star to many people, and she will be greatly missed.

Thlema was the greatest neighbor to the Dechavez family ( Willie & Winnie and Jacqueline) when we lived on St Andrews. Dearest Grandma, I love you so very much. I am so thankful to have had you in my life. All the hour long talks we shared together, laughing and joking like we were young girls on the phone. How I will miss those talks and the sound of your laughter. We love you and will cherish you always and forever. I love you grandma. You are a very special person and soul.
